“The rich are not to give more than a half shekel and the poor are not to give less when you make the offering to the LORD to atone for your lives.”
~ Exodus 30:15
Hi James and Ellen,
Where to you is God – as God the Father – Who is the Heavenly Father of the guys, gals and kids who He adopted to be His children before He created planet Earth? Do you think that God – as God the Father, can see you right now? Can a guy, gal or kid see God – as God the Father? What can God – as God the Father, do for you right now that would make you very happy? What can you do for God – as God the Father, right now that would make Him very happy? Is it more important to you right now that God – as God the Father, makes you very happy or is it more important to you right now that you make God – as God the Father, very happy? Your existence today as humanoids on planet Earth has not happened by chance; it happened because an unrivaled Heavenly Being – Who is called God, at an unknown point in time, created a soul bank of creatures – who He named man, to have His glory reflect back through them to Him, to have them worship Him obediently and to have them esteem Him faithfully. How do you think that the inimitable, unalterable personage of God came about? How do you think that the celestial mansion where God resides came about? Do you believe that God created and formatted in an individualized way the lives of every guy, gal and kid? Do you believe that God hardwired the unique personality of every guy, gal and kid? Do you believe that God formulated a customized environ for every guy, gal and kid? Your grandpaa does not know why God – Who your grandpaa believes divinely programmed every minute detail of what has taken place over eons of time, what is taking place at this moment and what is destined to take place over eternity, would opt to program polluting sin into His continually unfolding divinely composed production that He choreographed before He created planet Earth. Why do you think that God programmed evil into something that is perfect in His eyes?
‘Man’ was created by God – as God the Father, in His image for His specific purpose of having ‘man’ reflect His glory back to Him. Instead of accepting why he has been created, ‘man’ is constantly trying to fashion a divine being in ‘his’ image for the mindless purpose of worshipping what ‘he’ has created. Believing that a guy and gal is in control of his or her own fate – thinking of himself or herself as a god, through everything that has happened, is happening and will happen has become today for some guys and gals their belief paradigm. Misguided, erroneous and foolish belief norms invariably get set in motion by the whims of self-righteous, specious and reckless guys and gals. About 2450 years ago, God – as God the Father, gave His specially chosen guys and gals – the Israelite people group guys and gals, a new set of belief standards. This new set of belief norms that God – as God the Father, gave through Moses to His specially chosen guys and gals were unchangeable and absolute mandates that He expected His specially chosen guys and gals to faithfully obey. God – as God the Father, was detail specific in the new worship paradigm that He mandated for His specially chosen guys and gals to unconditionally and unreservedly obey. Some of the dictates of this new worship paradigm that God – as God the Father, gave to His specially chosen guys and gals to obey by doing was duly noted by Moses in Exodus 30. God – as God the Father, commanded that His specially chosen guys build Him an altar a foot and a half wide, a foot and a half long and two feet high out of acacia wood for the purpose of burning sweet smelling incense just for Him. This altar – where the sweet smelling incense that was made from a formula of equal amounts of gum resin, onycha, galbanum and frankincense blended and grounded together by a professional perfumer, was to be placed at the front of the curtain that was covering the opening to the ark of the Testimony. The formula for this salted, pure and holy sweet smelling incense was never to be duplicated by anyone to be used as his or her personal perfume. Each morning and each evening, Aaron – who was Moses’s big bro and the high priest, was to burn some of this fragrant incense right before he attended to the temple lamps. God – as God the Father, also commanded that each one of His specially chosen guys who were twenty years old and older – regardless of their economic status, who went into the Tent of Meetings that they were to donate as an atonement price a half shekel or a month’s wage for the cost of the maintaining and servicing the Tent of Meeting. Verse 15 says, “The rich are not to give more than a half shekel and the poor are not to give less when you make the offering to the LORD to atone for your lives.” God – as God the Father, also commanded that His specially chosen guys and gals mix 500 shekels of liquid myrrh, 250 shekels of cinnamon, 250 shekels of cane and 500 shekels of cassia together with a hin of olive oil for a special anointing oil. This sacred, special anointing oil was to be used by the designated high priest to anoint all the temple items and to anoint the high priests.
At the moment of the implementation of the components of His new belief paradigm, God – as God the Father, expected His specially chosen guys – the Israelite people group guys, to worship Him as equals no matter what – as evidenced by His expectations that each guy donate the same share of shekels. At the moment of the execution of the elements of His new belief paradigm, God – as God the Father, expected His specially chosen guy to use the one of a kind anointing oil mix to symbolize His cleansing power. At the moment of the introduction of the functions of His new belief paradigm, God – as God the Father, expected His specially chosen guys and gals to worship Him morning and evening with the burning of the sweet smelling incense that symbolized the sweet smelling prayers of His specially chosen guys and gals wafting up to Him. How are you worshipping God – as God the Father, today?
